River of Languages: What If the Yoga You've Practiced Your Whole Life Is Just the Beginning?
You meditate. You chant. You have a shelf of spiritual books you keep returning to. Somewhere along the way, yoga stopped being exercise and became something else entirely — something you can feel but have never quite been able to name.
What if you could go to where it all started?
This December, eight people will spend ten days in Varanasi — the City of Light, the city of Śiva, arguably the oldest continuously inhabited city on Earth — doing something that doesn't really have a category. It's not a yoga retreat and it's not a study course. This is a complete immersion in yoga as a living tradition, experienced in the place where its authentic lineage began and continues to flourish. A complete yoga pilgrimage to Varanasi.
They'll practice āsana at sunrise near the banks of the Gaṅgā. They'll learn to chant mantras the way they were always meant to be chanted as living vibration, guided by teachers who have devoted their lives to the lineage. They'll walk the midnight lanes to Manikarnika, the ancient cremation ground, lit by oil lamps, and understand in their bodies why yogis have been drawn to this city for millennia. They'll study the Bhagavad Gītā, the Yoga Sūtras, and the Upaniṣads, taking time to reflect on their meaning and discover how they relate to their own lives.
Eight people. That's the entire cohort. Eight seekers and two teachers studying together in one of the most extraordinary cities on earth for ten days in December 2026.
What You're Actually Getting in Your Yoga Pilgrimage to Varanasi
The immersion is called River of Languages because yoga is many disciplines flowing together. The body has a language (āsana and prāṇāyāma). Sound has a language (Sanskrit, mantra). The mind has a language (philosophy, the great texts). And the soul has a language, and Varanasi is that language, embodied in stone and water and fire and ritual.
You'll move through all four, guided by Elena Jessup and Amalia Safi, with six curated journeys into the city itself, including a Tantrik Temples night walk, a Sunrise Boat on the Gaṅgā, and visits to hidden courtyards and shrines most visitors never find.
You don't need Sanskrit nor years of practice. Mornings are taught in small groups matched to your level. No one is bored. No one is left behind.
Everything is included: nine nights in fine hotels in Delhi and Varanasi, all meals (gourmet vegetarian and vegan), domestic flights, airport transfers, all entrance fees, all six guided experiences. You arrive, and you are held.
The price is USD 2,700 all-inclusive for a shared room (USD 3,500 for a single room.)
The dates are 11–20 December 2026. There are only eight places, and four have been taken already.
If something in you has always known that what you've been practicing is pointing somewhere deeper, this is what it's been pointing toward.
Download the brochure. All eight places will go to people who didn't hesitate.
